The Greenhouse Foundation, since 2008, provides educational opportunities, instrumental loans, and financial assistance to promising musicians.
The Greenhouse Foundation, a non-profit organization, was established in Beverly Hills, California in 2008. With Bernard Greenhouse as its honorary chair and Bongshin Ko as its president, it includes officers and a board of directors of distinguished musicians and educators from the United States, Europe and Asia.
The Foundation’s mission is to discover and support young talents, research and promote less known cello music, pass on the legacy of the great schools, and according to Mr. Greenhouse, to “bring all cellists and cello lovers from around the world together”.
